P.S. I LOVE YOU
Handwritten letters have become somewhat of a lost art. Our memories are now kept in the form of pixels. Text messages have replaced written notes, and stories are more commonly told through posts on social media. But is there something more sentimental about handwritten storytelling? Something more intimate about taking the time to sit and reflect on a piece of paper?
“P.S. I Love You” is a collaborative project that brings together love stories from people all across the United States. On the back of every postcard are real-life stories handwritten by participants from all over the country. Each postcard design was inspired by places and details included in its corresponding love story to help bring these memories to life. This project combines the use of modern design tools with a nostalgic method of communication to create a sense of personalization in the digital age and demonstrate how these two worlds can coexist.
