I have had many labels in my life so far. Athlete. Musician. Artist. Art Historian. Writer. I have many interests and have always been eager to learn something new. By nature, and by accident, I became an interdisciplinary student. Although I have obtained knowledge in graphic design, English, and art history separately, I had yet to explore a personal space in which these fields coexist. A space in which my own visual and written language meld together to form a cohesive work.
Atmospheres is the creation of that space. Using strategies from poetry and flash fiction, combined with an abstract visual language and rhythmic tone, I have written a collection that magnifies specific moments in our lives that make up a greater narrative. I hope for the reader to relate to the work, as well as reflect upon their place as an individual and part of a collective.
