Anna Dirrim
Anna Dirrim is currently a student at University of Nebraska-Lincoln pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts with an emphasis in painting. Taking inspiration from American surrealism, she reconfigures images of her family, past and present, into scenes that reveal generational patterns. Her paintings serve as open letters coded in symbolism; they center conversations that have yet to be had. Anna works as a student ambassador for Sheldon Museum of Art and as an instructor with the LUX Center for the Arts. She hopes to extend her values of art, education, and community into her future.
