Exploring Fanfiction

Fanfiction is a creative medium that facilitates both learning and exploring. As a virtual medium, the space is constantly changing and developing as different contributors interact and mold the content.

On one hand, I am exploring my personal history with the medium. This history reflects in many ways the transformation of the medium over the past 10 years. On the other hand, this project is also an exploration of writing norms and tropes, with the goal of informing the reader of the long history of fanfiction
