[BFA] Studio Art – Drawing

Using graphite and micron pens, I delve into the theme of decomposition in animals and explore the intricate processes of decay through detailed renderings on paper. On visits to my grandparents’ ranch, I became fascinated with how certain plants and mushrooms thrive by utilizing nutrients from decaying organisms. Each piece explores transformation and challenges the notion that decay is merely an end. My work invites viewers to appreciate the natural cycle and discover the balance and interconnectedness of all living things.
