Was really excited to finally start “coding” our designs. Although i didn’t get far, i really feel way more comfortable and have a basic understanding of the structure of html, which leaves me ecstatic! Obviously, there are gonna be things i still don’t understand, but usually websites are pretty simple, which at least for now i believe i could be at a good place to set up a successful website. The more i do, the better i will understand. Still it can be a little overwhelming and although i didn’t get very far, i believe talking with Colleen will help me tie up some of the loose ends. I feel like one of the hardest parts will be understanding inheritance possibly, i can see myself running into problems about certain attributes being picked up or not remembering the rules to how those things work, but i can always revisit my notes, or even use the internet for help. Chapter 8 was about adding graphics to the web page, which is obviously an important part of web design. I feel like this will perhaps be the last step of the design, i think it is important to get everything set up in the appropriate place and then add the embellishments.
