Overview Questions:
1. Do you have any wireframes?
2. Do you have a list of scenes you would like to see?
3. How would you like the game to look? Three dimensional, flat-animated 2d space,….
4. Do you have a name for the game?
5. What is your primary strategic goal for this project to be successful?
Post Game Questions:
1. In the African Farmer Single User Guide book they include a list of functions by scene, do you have that? (page 6 of document, page 8 of pdf)
2. If not can we walk through the scenes and roughly identify the functions you know you are looking for?
3. In the African Farmer Single User Guide book they include a list of tasks each play can/must perform by season. Do you have a list of user tasks?
4. If not can we walk through each scene and discuss possibilities?
5. According to the client brief we received you outline 6 roles/characters. Are these players or “actors/agents” within the game?
6. Can you explain what you mean by each of these roles/characters?
7. Do you see each of these having a visual character personification?
8. In the African Farmer there were uncontrollable “events” that happened (like death, disease, insects, drought, weather), do you have a list of the uncontrollable events for this game?
9. In your RFP you mentioned you wanted a “control room scene”, what do you envision for this scene. You mentioned: Rain, weather, seasons, pests, death, Economy (Price of oil, ethanol, corn, beef), Population (Demand for beef, oil, corn, ethanol, water). Is that a control scene or random agents that are actually part of other scenes? (For example, are water levels are part of planting? would it be helpful to see global water levels?)
10. Are the scenes outlined correctly below?
Group 1: GameFlow — Environment/control floor
- User flow
- User Levels / Season
- Chaos Factors: Rain, weather, seasons, pests, death
- Global Factors: Economy (Price of oil, ethanol, corn, beef), Population (Demand for beef, oil, corn, ethanol, water)
Group 2: Farmer
- Corn / Soybean rotation (Input into beef and ethanol)
- Irrigation system
- Water/aquifer
- Possible cattle/ranch
- Grain storage; grain milling plant
Group 3: Beef
- Cattle/ranch – grass land
- Feedlot
- Manure management (on hold)
Group 4: Energy/Ethanol Plant (dry grind)
- Gas prices
- Oil prices
- DDGS – feed for cattle in ranch or feedlot
- Possibly add Cellulosic ethanol plants
